it seems a LDAP problem with difficult diagnostic, if recover entire
base from a LDIF
is not possible, try to start LDAP from console with:

/usr/sbin/slapd -d1

and send output

PS daily do a backup of LDAP, for example with tools/backup-basedn.sh
